Since 1 January 2018, CRTD Research Group Leader Prof. Dr. Marius Ader has held an unlimited W2 professorship at the Carl Gustav Carus Medical Faculty of the Technical University of Dresden. The research group led by Marius Ader deals with the replacement of photosensitive photoreceptors and the supporting retinal pigment epithelium (RPE), whose degeneration leads to diseases such as age-related macular degeneration (AMD) or retinitis pigmentosa.
