As a PhD student

The DIGS-BB focuses on training and mentoring graduates towards a PhD degree. We accept applications twice a year in our Spring and Fall Selection rounds. The following pages inform about the requirements you need to meet, the funding that we offer for accepted PhD students, and the necessary steps to submit an application.

As an intern

In addition to the PhD positions, the DIGS-BB offers funded internships (8–12 weeks) for excellent undergraduate students (Bachelor and Master) who are interested in gaining a great research experience by working in any of our research fields. Applications run once a year.
