Our PhD students took a leading role in establishing the first Biopolis Dresden PhD Symposium – a symposium organised by PhD students for other PhD students. This pilot event will take place at the Center for Regenerative Therapies Dresden (CRTD) on 23rd of January 2017.
The Biopolis Dresden PhD Symposium aims to bring together all Dresden-based PhD students in the Natural Sciences, providing a forum that promotes interpersonal networking and scientific exchange. To benefit participants in a practical manner, the event focuses on group activities and project discussions, rather than lecture-style talks. The symposium will culminate in a poster session where all PhD students can present their projects and get feedback from their peers.
The organizing team hopes to establish the Biopolis Symposium as an annual event for all natural sciences students in Dresden in order to further develop our already excellent PhD research community. For more information or to register, please visit bit.do/phd2017.
